I've Heard Nrass stopped Modding ! :( I don't have sims 4 yet. But hopefully we'll have someone who makes a SP mods ( Most essential ever ) Not sure how this will work without an Open world though D:
Nraas is still updating Sims 3, but are not planning on doing anything with Sims 4. Twallen is no longer doing the mods, but there is a great group that has taken over and they keep the mods updated.

My counter question is this: What do you want to get out of such a mod? If it is the Story Progression part I can understand that and someone will make it within the coming years. But if that isn't what you are are referring to I wonder what it is.

I really want story progessions

There is somewhat of a story progression with a few mods over at MTS. I don't think they have been updated for the new patch, though. autonomy changes, autonomy interactions and emotional overcharge by weebl_101. The autonomy interactions would probably make your town more alive as far as not having to play rotationally.

autonomy changes and autonomy interactions don't work with the new patch. My Sims would come home and start gardening on their own and do things on their own their own in granite falls. I only used it with one save but it was cool! I hope they update soon. But if you are a control every move kind of player you probably would not like the mods.
How to Install Mods in The Sims 4. Before we get down to the nitty-gritty, you should probably learn how to install a mod into your game. The Sims 4 makes it easier than ever: simply download the mod in question, unzip the files (they will typically end in.package), and then drag and drop them into the 'Mods' folder, which is already located in your Sims files (navigate to Documents. The Sims 4 does have a fair share of traits that we can pick from. But many of them can get quite repetitive if you’re one of those who like to have a ton of Sims in one town. It gets to a point where all sims have the same traits over and over again. And that’s when an injection of much-needed variety comes in handy. The original Sims 4 advertisements were filthy liars in the way it made it look like couches could hold multiple sims all together like that. Well, this mod sets out to make this a reality.

Last Updated September 9, 2020 in Gaming, Sims0 Comments
From realistic modifications to game additions that make you wonder if you’ve crossed an invisible line, the mods for The Sims 4 are weirder than ever. This piece will include everything from mods to tweak your Sims personality to mods that will add more content. Right, let’s get our mod on!

Height Slider
You’ve never been able to change the height of your Sims in any Sims game. That means that the only deciding factor in height is the age category that your Sim falls into.
With the Height Slider mod, you can adjust the height of each of your Sims to be more accurate for their age. No more will your teenaged Sims be the same height until they transform into adults on their birthday.
Bunk Beds
Bunk beds. That’s it. It’s not an exceptionally awesome modification, but it does add more of a family vibe to your house. Plus, it’s great for smaller houses if you’re playing without money cheats and trying to build yourself from the ground up.
Invisible Fence
It seems like a weird mod to list, right? Well, the beauty of the Invisible Fence mod is that it changes the behavior of your Sims when they’re walking on pathways. You can erect a fence around the paths that you’ve built (you know, the ones that all of your Sims ignore), and force them to walk on the path, instead of cutting across.
The highlight of this mod is that the fence you put up can’t be seen in-game, so there’s nothing there to block the view of your wonderful garden.
Talkative Sims
Do you have that one friend in your group who’s the chatty one? They always have a story to tell, and they’re great for filling awkward silences when meeting people that you haven’t been around before.
The Talkative Trait comes from a fan-created mod that allows the Sim who has it to become more chatty. They’ll talk to everyone about everything!
Faster Eating
Does the length of time that your Sim takes to nourish themselves seem too long? Here’s your solution: A modification created to ensure that your Sim eats and drinks faster than they ever could before.
Anyone who plays this game knows that Sims take an age to eat, and if you have other things to be cracking on with, then this might be the next mod that you add to your game’s code.
More Best Friends
At present, The Sims 4 only allows your Sim to become Best Friends with one other Sim. Thanks to the More Best Friends mod, you’ll be able to have multiple Best Friends for your Sim, and those Best Friends can be any Sim that you can build a good enough relationship with.
Most people have more than one best friend, so only being able to choose one in the game isn’t very realistic. This mod fixes that with ease.
Lower Salary
The salary of a Sim is fairly unrealistic. They get paid immediately – every day – with no delays. Their only penalties come when they miss work too often and get fired. But even then, they can get a new job straight away and start work the next day.
So, if you’re looking to make your gaming life more difficult by having your Sims’ career reflect your own a bit more, then this is the modification for you. Cut your Sims salary in half and watch them suffer.
Exploration
With this mod, your Sim will be given more action choices in their world. You can also randomly explore whenever you feel like it, or just go for a drive to a local gambling spot. The world truly becomes your Sim’s oyster.
More Careers
Choosing a career path for your Sim to take was already fun and challenging, but it can feel pretty limited. With the More Careers mod, you can add tons of new careers for your Sims to set their sights on.
These new careers include artistic careers like becoming a dancer, as well as story-based careers where your Sim will play several roles throughout their path.
Doctor
Are you a doctor? No? Well, that’s about to change! This mod comes with the Sickness mod, adding in illnesses for NPCs, who will need a doctor to get them back to full health. The Private Practice mod allows you to assist unhealthy and ill Sims, meaning you can intervene when your doctor Sim thinks another Sim needs help.
Ultrasound Scan
So, your Sim is pregnant, but you want them to experience the pregnancy in a more realistic way than the baby just appearing one day out of (almost) nowhere. Sims that are pregnant in your game are able to talk about when their baby is due and take a pregnancy test, but they can’t go for a scan.
The Ultrasound Scan mod allows you to move your Sim to the hospital, where they can talk to a doctor and have a real scan to see their baby.
Realistic Reactions
Has your Sim seen the love of their life kiss another Sim? Has the lack of reaction left you feeling unfulfilled? Look no further! The Realistic Reactions mod offers all of the best screen-recording-ready reactions for you to enjoy.
This mod affects all of your Sims. If your kid Sims see their parents arguing, they’ll react. Sim cheating with another Sim? React! Fun for the whole family!
Sexuality
Annoyed that you can’t set your Sim’s sexuality and gender preferences? Well, now you can! With the Gender Preference mod, you can ensure that your Sim is built the way that you envisioned them when you designed the rest of their character and appearance.
The cool thing about this mod is that you can even set the percentage of attraction that your Sim feels towards other genders.
True Happiness
We all want our Sims to remain happy. Unhappy Sims are less fulfilled and will mope around their homes, not wanting to do any of the things you’re commanding them to do. Happiness is a vital part of Simology.
However, this mod isn’t just about keeping your Sim happy. It’s actually a mod that helps your Sim properly adapt to any events that would typically impact their mood. Making a new friend would make them happier, but being late to work would make them sad.
Personality
Sims can sometimes feel like they’ve been cut from the same cloth. They’re lacking in the personality department, but you can change that with this mod! This mod makes Sims act in a way that better suits the traits you’ve given them by giving you more choices based on their actions.
You’ll be able to stay true to your own Sims feelings about other Sims, animals, and things in their environments. You could even see your Sim yell at someone when they’re angry about something.
Human Emotions
This mod is similar to a couple of others listed, but it was created to specifically change the way that your Sim reacts to a situation, without giving the player an easy way out. In the unedited game, you can make a couple of quick decisions to make your Sim happy again, but this mod changes that.
The aim of this mod is to make your Sims feel a little more human when you’re playing. You’ll need to put in some effort to get your Sim to change how they feel about an event that occurred.
Drama
Who doesn’t love a little bit of tea being spilled? With the Life’s Drama mod, your Sim will be able to interact with any spicy situations that happen nearby. Be the Karen that peers through the window curtain.
Better Romance
Romantic relationships between Sims have always been a bit strange. They don’t exactly echo how romance works in the world. I doubt you could spam your significant other with high fives to get a better relationship level – though, in retrospect, that might work. We aren’t to blame if you get the red minus sign, though.
This mod enables players to make their romantic relationships more realistic, offering certain interactions depending on the existing relationship between the two Sims you’re controlling.
Dating App
Ah, a true echo of real life. The SimDa Dating App will give your Sim a new way to find true love. Or it will ruin them – who knows! Once your Sim opens the app, they can click on the menu and search for other Sims in the city that want to match up.
This means that you could match with Sims looking for love, Sims who only want to spend a night, or Sims that aren’t sure who they’re looking for. So, yes, you can have a Sim Blind Date.
Unlisted Phone Number
The Sims 4 offers an interaction between sims where they can exchange their phone numbers with one another. However, even if you haven’t completed this interaction, you can still call a Sim – as long as you have some kind of relationship with them.
That seems like a cop-out, so a mod was created to make it so that you can only interact with Sims on your phone if you’ve used the “exchange numbers” interaction feature.
Game Replacements
It’s time to mess with the inner workings of The Sims 4 by allowing its players to have actual games to play while they… play. Game-ception, if you will. With the Game Replacement mod, you can use your Sim’s computer or console to play a range of games.
The same mod creator did put up a second version, which includes games that you can buy and play in real life.
Game Replacements 2.0
Speaking of that second mod version, here it is! This mod will allow you to play games like Animal Crossing and Grand Theft Auto. It’s like playing two games at once, which is perfect for anyone who finds themselves easily distracted.
Do remember to feed and water your Sims, though.
Meaningful Stories
Awesomemod Sims 4
The Meaningful Stories mod is perfect for gamers who love playing RPGs but enjoy Sims for the casual aspects of the game. This mod allows your Sims to react to the different life events that occur during their day.
Along with the new reactions, your Sim will benefit (or not benefit) from new moodlets to change the way they feel when the event occurs. Joel osteen i declare pdf free download.
Slice of Life
Another mod to add more realism and life-like situations into your game, Slice of Life is great for extra detail. This mod actually changes tiny things about your Sim, depending on what’s happening to or around them.
For example, if they get into a fight with another Sim, you’ll notice that your own Sim gains bruises on their face afterward. Or, if they’re embarrassed, they might gain a red tint to their cheeks.
Spells and Sorcery
With the Sorcerer mod, you are given the power to allow your Sims to cast spells. Fantasy isn’t anything new to the Sims, and magic has kind of existed in previous versions, but this mod takes that to a whole new level.
Mermaids made real
Sims 4 Awesome Mod Download
We’ve had witches, ghosts, vampires, fairies, and even werewolves, but The Sims has never given us mermaids. Well, that’s changing. The Mermaid mod allows players to turn their Sims into mermaids with their own beautiful fishtails. You’ll also get some mermaid magic to play with, too!
House Boat
Feeling bored with the same old house building mechanisms that every other Sim game has had? This mod lets you build a small boat for your Sim to live in, instead! It’s perfect for adding more personality to the life of a wilder Sim who prefers simpler living and the outdoors.
Hogwarts
Fancy exploring a Hogwarts Museum that has its own Sorting Hat? Yeah, lots of other people do, too. This mod gives you the base of the museum, but there’s plenty of other mods that can be added to it so that you can bring Hogwarts to life in your Sims 4 game.
Command Centre
Awesome Mod Sims 3 Install
For a mod that will tweak your basic game to the perfection that you want to achieve, you’ll need to download the MC Command Centre mod. It’s actually a bunch of small mods that will help you make adjustments to your game, including changing clothes and getting rid of certain NPCs.
Morphing
If you’re a gamer who enjoys extreme character edition and creation, then you’ll love the MorphMaker mod. This mod gives you the ability to change every inch of your Sim until they are exactly as you have envisioned them. It’s not something that you’ll do quickly, we’re sure.
